The first piece I ever painted of the 'Ayis Cryptid' series. Called the Bertrand variant, named after the person who found them (unfortunately for them). Hair changes to two-tone when hunting/feeding.
Arches Watercolors, Shin Han watercolors, Daniel Smith watercolors, Dick Blick watercolors, with Sailor Manyo (Kuzu Burgundy) ink. INK IS NOT WATERPROOF.
